The New Years Resolutions Escape Room will take students on a mission all while getting a history lesson about how New Years resolutions came to be and their significance today. This escape room is engaging and focuses on reading comprehension, critical thinking, peer collaboration, & problem solving skills.
 
Students will practice close reading skills by reading & rereading a passage several times to find answers and complete 6 different challenges. The best part…NO PREP for teachers. JUST PRINT & GO!
 
This activity can be used for partner activities, anticipatory sets, sub plans, extension activities, early-finishers, stations, or independent work. How you choose to set it up in your classroom is up to you. You my also choose to do one challenge per day or complete them all in one or two class periods.
