The Mesopotamia Escape Room STATIONS will take students on a mission all while learning about the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia and its impact on the world today. This escape room is engaging and focuses on reading comprehension, critical thinking, peer collaboration, & problem solving skills.
 
With answer sheet in hand students will walk around the room and practice close reading skills by reading & rereading a passage several times to solve 6 different challenges. Each station requires students to use various skills, ultimately leading to the final escape room challenge! The best part…NO PREP for teachers. JUST PRINT, POST STATIONS, & GO!
 
This activity makes a perfect introductory lesson, but can also be used for partner activities, anticipatory sets, sub plans, extension activities, early-finishers, stations, or independent work. How you choose to set it up in your classroom is up to you. You may choose to do one station per day or complete them all in one or two class periods.
