The Mesopotamia Escape Room will take students on a mission all while learning about the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia and its impact on the world today. This escape room is engaging and focuses on reading comprehension, critical thinking, peer collaboration, & problem solving skills.
 
Students will practice close reading skills by reading & rereading a passage several times to find answers and complete 6 different challenges. The best part…NO PREP for teachers. JUST PRINT & GO!
 
This activity makes a perfect introductory lesson, but can also be used for partner activities, anticipatory sets, sub plans, extension activities, early-finishers, stations, or independent work. How you choose to set it up in your classroom is up to you. You may choose to do one challenge per day or complete them all in one or two class periods.
 
This activity is the SAME as the Mesopotamia escape Room STATIONS, however it DOES NOT require students to walk around the classroom to solve challenges. If you're interested in a STATION ACTIVITY VERSION check it out!
