The Cinco de Mayo ESCAPE ROOM is a great Cinco de Mayo or History activity that will take students on a mission all while learning about the history of Cinco de Mayo and its significance. This escape room activity is engaging and focuses on reading comprehension, critical thinking, peer collaboration, & problem solving skills.
 
Students will practice close reading skills by reading & rereading a passage several times to find answers and complete 6 different challenges and one final challenge. The best part…NO PREP for teachers. JUST PRINT (or send digitally) & GO!
 
This activity can be used for Cinco de Mayo, history, partner activities, sub plans, extension activities, early-finishers, stations, or independent work.
